I Miss Volleyball

Through a weird turn of events (taxes -> bethel’s website -> search for volleyball -> NIVC (Northern Intercollegiate Volleyball Conference) popped into my head -> went back to the NIVC website -> found the old tournament brackets and results from when I was a player) I realized I really miss volleyball. I loved playing when I was in school. I love playing period and I just don’t play anymore. Sure I get to play with some friends once in awhile, but it’s not the same. I’m not nearly as good as I used to be. We used to practice 2 to 3 times a week at Bethel. You have to practice to be any good. I used to play USAV for a little while after school too, and now I don’t play anymore because I’m too busy (plus I wasn’t a huge fan of the league - I really missed playing with other Christians). Ah well, such is life I guess. You grow up, move on, do other things. But it’s still nice to reminisce about all the good times. Kind of makes you rethink your life a little bit.

Now I need to go find a midnight gym where people are playing volleyball.

So, I noticed on facebook that you have a birthday this weekend, so I thought I would post a little comment on your facebook page about your upcoming birthday, and then I thought, “let’s see what Jeremy has been up to the last couple months…it’s been forever since I have seen him.”
So I come to this page…
and it’s the same boring and dismal post as before.

Are you kidding me? Seriously? SERIOUSLY????
This is crazy Jeremy…you need something here.
    Wow!
    That’s all I have to say…
    I’m very disappointed.

we’re trying to fix you’re missing of volleyball but it seems like your missing of the sport is deep, very deep, maybe too deep to be considered normal. maybe we have to try more extreme methods….and …what’s up with no-new-post?

by the way, you don’t have to practice, you just have to be able to stomach a level of metiocrity.
